JAY "KELLY" VEACH
"No Hyphen in American" was the song that launched Jay "Kelly" Veach into the whirlwinds of songwriting and recording.
"That song was written as a way to unite us around 'our culture' and to embrace our diversity as a nation instead of dividing us by ethnicities".
It has been downloaded on six continents and performed in front of Presidents, military leaders, politicians, business leaders, patriots from every branch of the military and numerous civilian audiences.
"My musical inspirations came from the early folk groups and solo artists of the 50's and 60's as well as the classical Country Western performers with their heartfelt messages."
Growing up in San Francisco seems a bit strange for an artist who writes and sings about the Wild West; but, from an early age, Jay (aka Kelly), worked summers at the Daimond R stables in Northern California and would ride whenever he had the opportunity.
"I've always loved horses and growing up watching the Old Westerns and Hollywood cowboys, set my young imagination into overdrive....guess I never really grew up...still love 'em."
A member of the Western Music Association and an ASCAP recording artist, you can hear Jay's songs on country stations or by downloading his songs on CDBaby. Click the link and leave a message/
